Are you tired of always being busy? Do you long for more time to do the things that really matter? About a year ago I found myself at the point where I just didn’t have anything left, as if time had been slowly wearing me down. Longing for quiet, uninterrupted periods of time, I made the decision that I would stop feeling so frantic and cultivate a life less busy.
My goal is to slow down, simplify my life and somehow discover serenity in the process. I want to take time to enjoy the simple things, the little everyday moments that make up life. There is so much beauty and wisdom waiting to be discovered in the everyday things around us, but so often we are too busy to notice. When I slow down, and become more aware of the world around me, I find that I am able to make meaning out of the madness.
About A Life Less Busy
The aim of this site it to inspire others to slow down and discover a more meaningful way of living. When we slow down it is possible to create time to explore whatever interests us, to follow our passions, and to spend our time in ways that nurture rather than deplete us. As well as ideas and advice for creating a life less busy, I will share some of the things that I enjoy now I have extra time available.
What you will discover here might seem a rather eclectic mix of ideas and interests but they will hopefully be a reflection of what a life less busy can look like.
